Ambitious NICA project at Dubna by JINR will collide 4.5 GeV/u Au79+ ions.
Two instruments with very large inner diameter, bakable to 185’C, will measure the beam: An In-flange.
NPCT will measure the stored beam, an In-flange.FCT will allow to observe injection and magnetic barrier bunch shaping.
