The chamber XHV calls for high-temperature bakeout. The ICT cores will be in high temperature magnetic alloy and materials to withstand 185’C bakeout.
Extensive simulations at HZB and resonance investigations on Bergoz Instrumentation Goubau Line have been conducted, to identify HOM frequencies excited in the ICT cavities by the very short bunches.
Simulations and Goubau Line measurements are in agreement.
